Welcome to Hoover Elementary

Hoover Elementary School

Respectful, Responsible, and Ready! We recognize our students for their achievements on a monthly basis and work hard to include our parents in the planning of our monthly parent nights. Our PTA is very active in our school and would enjoy your attendance at the monthly meetings. Consider joining our PTA so that your "voice" can be heard when we plan our events in order to meet the needs of our students and community. At Hoover we strive to always provide a positive environment for all who enter through our doors so that Hoover Elementary can a successful learning experience for each student and their parents!

We are very proud of the outstanding commitment and professionalism of every staff member at Hoover. We work as a team to make sure our students receive a high quality, standards-based education that provides a solid foundation in reading, writing and mathematics. In order to accomplish this task, our teachers differentiate instruction based on each child’s level of instruction and work diligently to promote growth in all areas----social, emotional and cognitive.

Our office staff is always available to provide friendly and courteous customer service to our wonderful families, community and visitors. I want to personally welcome you to Hoover Elementary School.

Healthy Youth Survey

Washington State 2016 Healthy Youth Survey

Our district is participating in the Washington State 2016 Healthy Youth Survey during the weeks of October 10th - 21st.

The Healthy Youth survey includes questions related to physical activity and diet, unintentional and intentional injury, substance use, risk and protective factors, access to school-based services, and sexual behaviors, abuse and orientation. Survey results are used by schools, communities and state agencies to plan programs to support our youth and reduce their risks.

The Healthy Youth Survey is given to students in grades 6, 8, 10 and 12 across Washington State.

Participation in the survey is voluntary and the students' answers are anonymous.

Please read the Parent and Student Notification flyer for more information about the Healthy Youth Survey.
